JP's Digital Impact Theme with Extensions PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator
Finally we're presenting the Digital Impact Joomla!People Theme. A sober dark blue background emerging from beneath the appealing beige header with its daring dreaming whirlwinds.

Enough with Poetry! Shall we descend to presenting the Digital Impact's design elements and lil' code tweaks? Here we go:

This Joomla template is left aligned, showing as we write only one column to the right side of the main content area. But for those hungry for columns, there's one more right to the left on the right. Ahem, in English here's the order of columns: main content | left | right. All in all, the template comes with 18 positions coded in by default. Allowing a richer display than the current blog-like demo.

Extensions-wise there's the Slide Menu with a tad of styling to match Digital Impact. Install mod_slidemenu and publish it to the [navbar] position. Then comes the JW_UCD module, install and publish it to the [topcom] position. Good to have is the PNG fix plugin to give alpha transparency for browsers older than MSIE6. A must have is the YJ_Date plugin, this will render a publishing date next to your article's title. Make sure to disallow the section displaying in JW_UCD from YJ_Date plugin. At your ease, install CBuilder and JEvents for a better socionet and calendaring experience.
